Constructor Detail

JRoundDial

public JRoundDial(double o)
constructs a dial with no pointers

Parameters:
o - the value that corresponds to one turn (e.g. 360 for measures in degrees); negative values for counter-clockwise dial
Method Detail

setZero

public void setZero(double z)
define the position at which the zero of the dial will be placed

Parameters:
z - the angle (from the top, clockwise, in rads) where the zero of the dial will be placed

setSize

public void setSize(int w,
                    int h)
as described in java.awt.Component

setSize

public void setSize(java.awt.Dimension d)
as described in java.awt.Component

getPreferredSize

public java.awt.Dimension getPreferredSize()
as described in java.awt.Component

setMinorTickSpacing

public void setMinorTickSpacing(double s)
set the spacing between minor tics

Parameters:
s - the spacing between minor tics

setMajorTickSpacing

public void setMajorTickSpacing(double s)
set the spacing between major tics

Parameters:
s - the spacing between major tics

setPaintMinorTicks

public void setPaintLabels(boolean b)
show the tic labels?

Parameters:
b - show the tic labels?

setPaintTurns

public void setPaintTurns(JPointer p)
show the integer turn number of a JPointer

Parameters:
p - the JPointer that contains the number of turns; it must be already added as a JPointer

paintComponent

public void paintComponent(java.awt.Graphics g)
draw the component - don't call this directly, but use repaint()

addJPointer

public void addJPointer(JPointer p)
add a pointer; it will be the actual component that contains informations

Parameters:
p - the pointer that must be added
